Yarbrough & Peoples burst onto the music scene with the million-selling single "Don't Stop the Music," their irresistible brand of synth-based R&B/funk that was ahead of its time then, and through the years has become a musical brand that still sets Yarbrough & Peoples apart as a dance music force the world over!!!!! Their first single, Grammy Award-nominated "Don't Stop the Music" topped the charts and stayed in the #1 Billboard position for 11 weeks and has sampled by various artist such as Puff Daddy & The Family (Don’t Stop What You’re Doin’- which also appeared in the movie Soul Food); Shaquille O’Neal (I’m Outstanding -which appeared in the movie High School High); Eve & Alicia Keys (Gangsta’ Loving); Phat Pat (Tops Keep Droppin‘)…and many others. Soon their careers broadened to stage plays and theatrical entertainment - and they performed as actors and music arrangers in New York Off-Broadway and the Guggenheim Museum, and toured the UK with the stage play Blind Lemon Blues (which was nominated for the Audelco Award).

They have now completed their very first Gospel CD with God-inspired songs of encouragement and wisdom. Like the CD’s before, this CD is loaded with awesome bass riffs and beautiful harmonies…the sounds of Yarbrough & Peoples!

BRICK, the tremendously talented platinum recording band hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1976 by lead guitarist Regi Hargis, BRICK created a successful merger of dance and jazz music for a unique sound we call “Dazz.” BRICK recorded “Music Matic” for Main Street Records in 1976 before signing to CBS-distributed record label Bang Records. Their first Bang single “Dazz” was #1 on the R&B charts and was #3 on the pop charts in 1976. BRICK scored two more huge hits in 1977 “Dusic” and “Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody” each with a chunky, propulsive and catchy beat with a pop-jazz refrained sound. Brick’s last top ten R&B hit was “Sweat (Til You Get Wet)” released in 1981. BRICK’S current members include Regi Hargis lead and rhythm guitar, lead and background vocals; Jimmy Brown lead and background vocals, alto sax, trombone, trumpet, and flute; Eric Florence, bass guitar; and Victor Alexander, drums, and percussion. BRICK has received gold and platinum albums for their hit records: “Dazz”, “Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody”, “Dusic”, “That’s What It’s All About”, “We Don’t Wanna Sit Down We Wanna Get Down”, “Push Push”, “Happy”, “Honey Chile”, and “Sweat (Til You Get Wet)” which were all recorded on the Bang/CBS record label. BRICK still performs around the world to thousands of loyal fans and introducing funk music to a new generation. The group has performed with many major artists including Frankie Beverly & Maze, The Bar-Kays, Cameo, The Gap Band, Isley Brothers, Lionel Richie, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, The O’Jays, and Quincy Jones just to name a few.

The Original "P" Funk is a 12 - piece band featuring original, founding members of Parliament/Funkadelic - Fuzzy Haskins, Grady Thomas, and Ray Davis. From the street corners of New Jersey and the Motown boom of Detroit in the early sixties to the arenas and stadiums in the seventies, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the late nineties, it's been a long, strange trip for Fuzzy, Grady, and Ray. All three founding members were recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for their work with The Parliaments and Parliament/Funkadelic. The newly formed Parliament/Funkadelic began cutting a series of records which cut a flaming path into the hearts and minds of an entire generation. This unit begot the musical genre "Acid Funk". You can hear Fuzzy, Grady, and Ray on the original recordings of such Parliament/Funkadelic hits as "One Nation Under A Groove," "Flashlight," "Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker)," "Standing On The Verge Of Getting It On," and "Up For The Downstroke," and on such classic P-Funk albums as Free Your Mind And Your Ass Will Follow, Cosmic Slop, Mothership Connection and many more.
